Kay Jones has been a teacher for over 30 years. She has her Masters in Talented and Gifted Education and has also been a reading specialist for many years as well. She is skilled in working with children and determining the exact root cause of any issues (i.e. reading problems, learning disabilities etc...) She has tutored many children over her career and immediately turned them on the path to making learning fun again!
She was selected as one of 200 teachers across the country to attend the Exxon Mobile/Phil Mickelson Science and Math academy in New York this summer to further her education, and has won many other numerous awards over her teaching career. She teaches at at private school here in Dallas and is available to tutor after school and on weekends. She can spot any learning style differences, and has the training necessary to address almost any learning style. She is a very loving teacher and most of the kids she has tutored ask to go to tutoring because she makes it fun! She is willing to come to your house too.
